Mission Statement
Through Community Service, Aerospace Education and Leadership Essentials, We Prepare Citizens And Leaders For The 21st Century.
Community Service Goals
- To reach out and employ our services in order to help more families than ever before.
- To utilize our community service organizations within JROTC in order to support our veterans and military organizations.
- To continue to keep our Adopt-a-Street clean, as well as expand our services to help other community cleaning projects.
- To reach out to America's youth in presenting alternatives to the problems facing them today by utilizing our Awareness Presentation Team.
- Expand community awareness of JROTC by not only utilizing the above goals, but ensuring that the community knows they may utilize us.
Education Goals
- To ensure that all cadets have a strong background on Military History and in the physics of flight.
- To expand their knowledge by allowing them the experience of participating in military events.
- To utilize our Summer Leadership School in Yuma by teaching organizational and military basics classes while putting them to use.
- Allow cadets to establish goals and ensure they have the means necessary to accomplish them.
- To challenge each cadet to put forth their full effort in anything the may attempt.
Leadership Goals
- Teach military leadership, respect and esprit de corps through activities such as FTX's, Drill Team, Color Guard and other JROTC related events.
- Ensure that every cadet has a chance to lead and explore their possible talents in many different leadership positions.
- Utilizing our summer leadership school in Yuma by allowing cadets to be in a challenging environment not only physically but mentally as well.
- To insure that cadets leave Cactus High School with a sense of pride towards themselves and the United States of America.
